Pure Sonnenberg feeling

Your place for moments of indulgence

As soon as you stroll left from the light-filled Sonnenberg lobby, past the flickering fire, and along the vast windows, you’ll come upon the Sonnenberg Bar. Cosy armchairs to sink into, intimate seating alcoves, and generous use of wood paired with extraordinary lighting installations create a setting like no other. Glasses sparkle, and the drinks menu promises an exquisite dilemma. In short: The panoramic hotel bar at Sonnenberg is an invitation to lean back and let the day melt away with a refined drink in hand. Here, the Sonnenberg team serves up high-quality cocktails, fine wines, extraordinary gins and spirits – each as distinctive and expressive as the Sonnenberg feeling itself.
Whether on the spacious terrace with sweeping views of the surrounding peaks or in the cosy atmosphere of the bar – every moment is effortlessly delicious.
For quiet conversations and tranquil hours, the Sonnenberg library awaits with its fantastic views. After all, when was the last time you had uninterrupted time for a good book or a glass of velvety red wine to make time stand still?

Gin – the art of the exceptional

From classic to floral to exotic – each variety tells its own story, shaped by exquisite botanicals and masterful distillation. Paired with hand-picked tonics and creative garnishes, these drinks are a delight for all the senses. Gins from South Tyrol, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, South Africa, Japan, and Spain take you on a flavour journey around the world. Did you know, for instance, that Belgium boasts a surprisingly rich variety of distinctive gins?

Sonnenberg gin tip: Edelschwarz

The London Dry Gin by Edelschwarz is gently and sustainably distilled from 17 organic botanicals in small copper stills. Key ingredients in this bold Alpine organic gin include edelweiss, blackberries, spruce needles, hay – and of course, juniper. Its name, Edelschwarz, derives from its two main components: edelweiss and Schwarzbeeren (blackberries). Crystal-clear mountain spring water from the Val Passiria/Passeiertal valley completes this spirited gin. Best enjoyed with tonic!
